We are thrilled to announce our participation in PROACTIF, a groundbreaking European initiative led by Nokia and funded by the European Union’s Chips Joint Undertaking. This multimillion-Euro project is set to redefine how emergency management and critical infrastructure surveillance are conducted across Europe, harnessing the power of robotics, autonomous systems, and unmanned aerial technologies.
Nokia is on a mission to build a resilient and autonomous Europe with help of AirborneRF and NAVSentry
As a key technology contributor, we bring our flagship platforms — AirborneRF and NAVSentry — into this innovative venture. Dimetor`s solutions will play a key role in enabling safe, efficient, and cybersecure unmanned operations.
„We are honored to contribute to this landmark project shaping the future of autonomous operations”, says Thomas Neubauer, CEO of Dimetor.
AirborneRF ensures real-time connectivity insights and ground risk intelligence for BVLOS drone operations, while NAVSentry provides automated GNSS/GPS interference detection — including spoofing and jamming — for operational reliability and resilience in both aerial and ground missions.
Together, the solitions provide a critical digital backbone needed for autonomous vehicles to function safely across Europe’s skies and landscapes.
Collaboration at scale: 42 partners, 13 countries, one vision
Led by Nokia, the PROACTIF consortium brings together 42 leading organizations from 13 countries, uniting academic institutions, SMEs, and industrial leaders in one of the largest robotics and drone technology collaborations in Europe.
The initiative aims to:
· Develop 5 advanced UxV platforms and 9 technology building blocks
· Generate €90 million in revenue by 2035
· Create over 50 innovative products and 15+ new patents
· Stimulate dozens of new partnerships and hundreds of new high-tech jobs
This project is about Europe’s sovereignty in managing its civil security with eco-efficient, cost-effective, and highly interoperable unmanned systems.
A step forward for autonomous innovation
This transformation is key to strengthening the digital infrastructure required for safe and resilient drone and robotics operations. Being part of PROACTIF marks a significant milestone in Dimetor´s mission to empower secure, scalable, and connected skies together with industry stakeholders.
A future-proof framework for civil protection
By addressing key challenges in autonomy, cybersecurity, and data-driven situational awareness, the PROACTIF project aligns perfectly with Dimetor’s mission to bridge the gap between telecommunications, aviation and cyber defense. It lays the foundation for Europe to lead in civil protection, infrastructure resilience, and disaster response using autonomous technologies.
About Dimetor
Dimetor is a software company bridging the data gap between communications service providers (CSPs), aviation and autonomous systems, providing dual-use technology for situational awareness and cyber defense. Through our world-leading platforms — AirborneRF and NAVSentry — Dimetor empowers safe, connected, and intelligent autonomous operations.
AirborneRF enables secure BVLOS drone missions by delivering real-time data on cellular connectivity, 3D airspace corridors, and ground risk assessments based on anonymized mobile network data. It provides critical information for flight planning, live operations, and regulatory compliance, with deployment across Australia, Europe, and North America.
NAVSentry, Dimetor’s advanced GNSS interference detection platform, strengthens airspace and ground navigation security by monitoring and analyzing GNSS spoofing and jamming events in real-time. It delivers automated alerts, performance analytics, and threat localization, protecting mission-critical PNT operations in both civilian and defense environments.
Developed by experts in telecom, aviation, and robotics, Dimetor’s technologies are setting new standards for connected airspace safety and resilient autonomous operations.
